HOW TO STYLE VINTAGE GINGHAM

tee | Mint Vintage (similar here or here), skirt | Blitz London (similar here or here), mules | here, bag   | here, sunglasses | Rokit (similar here).

If you're in a need of a quick spring fashion fix, look no further than the glorious aesthetically pleasing dorothy iconic (wizard of oz) retro Gingham print. Here I've styled mine with a good old trusty slogan tee.

It's amazing how a simple well chosen tee, can instantly showcase your unique independent style and personality. I teamed the vibrant  shine off this bold green 'It's Better in the Bahamas' t-shirt against the strong woven print on this beautifully silhouette pencil skirt. Details like the flattering high waist, soft light cotton fabric and original warm brown shade, really do make this particular garment perfect for spring. And as you know I can't resist hunting the shops and flee markets for that one-off quirky vintage piece, that I can re-style to make modern.

You can dress the gingham print up or down with plimsolls, ballet pumps or heels this spring. But I couldn't finish this look off without including my new pair of white minimal mules (which I now need in black and red! Although I'm currently in a white shoe only phrase hmmmm). As the chic kitten heels do feel so surprisingly comfortable to walk in, yet spot on for curating that stylish height illusion.  Add a pair of colourful sunglasses, plus a fun novelty bag and your 100% ready to Gingham Go GO.

All the flowers have finally bloomed here in town and I can't wait to wear this outfit again and again all over Laanndan

What gingham piece are you currently style stalking?
