THE CLASSIC DUNGAREES

TOM BOY

One spring like sunny morning, when our gardens are in a feast of blooming blossom. I decided to dress as my inner four year old and take to the streets of my pretty London village. And pose like a yeti in the middle of the beautiful streets by 'pretending' to be a model in a pair of heels and my new favourite Tomboy Dungarees. (As you do!)

To be fair I feel like my awkward posing has got a little better over these blogging months, but I'll delve more into that on my next post with a spin on 'How to Be The Best Blogger in the World'

The work wear vintage thick jean.
Originally worn in the 40's by working women and 80's by our fabulous popstars. Our classic lovable dungarees have definitely made a wardrobe comeback over the last year or so. I love seeing a timeless statement piece like the dungarees constantly evolving with a crop ankle, fray hem or ripping detail which I've seen a lot recently on our high streets.

I've styled my dungarees with my new 70's inspired white-bell-sleeve cute blouse, which I'm kind of obsessing over. I recently wore this frilly top with a leather pale blue highwaisted skirt and nude platforms and felt so comfy and fabulous in it. (I can't help but wear this top! Expect more overuse of this top on me blog! Eeek!)
Zara have such lovely pieces in at the moment. I would like them all please, especially a pair of suede mules I've seen and ACTUALLY all the spring summer collection. (Shhhhh!)
Popped on my lush vintage black patent sandals, which have a lovely cross over strapping detail and my classic leather satchel bag.

Sunglasses(Borrowed from boo): Topman, Blouse: Zara, Dungarees: Rokit Similar hereSandals:Vintage, Bag: Absolute Vintage

The dungarees look great with a plain or stripped roll neck jumper or roll neck top, a simple plain t-shirt or a funky slogan t-s, print shirt, vest or thick layering oversized cardigan. I've also worn this look with my converse trainers and primsoles too. So I find dungarees quite versatile to style and wear. These are also quite transitional across all seasons. (Bonus! :-) )

What do you think of this funky look?

BARDOT BRIGHT BOLD BLUE

EDEN SPRING

How are you? I hope you're well and dandy. With my new braids in, (Yes I'm still talking about my hair, doh!) I've recently been inspired by more of an earthier, natural, bohemian look but at the same time still completely obssessed with my granny vintage style.

I went straight for my flirty off the shoulder on trend top, as it's a subtle, dainty way of revealing a tad more skin up top which doesn't include my cleavage (which I rarely do).  I was tempted to opt for my white version of this top but I'm in love with the African print on this Rokit Recycled Vintage Top - Similar here. I've worn this piece with denim flares, skirts, and black jeans. I just find this design perfect for adding a bit of eccentricity to your outfit. Perfect for Spring!
The royal blue Blitz Vintage 80's trousers are more of a nod towards my classic vintage style. The slight cropped ankle, vibrant pop of colour, high waist and fitted wool design help add a tiny bit of elegance to this outfit. I loooooooooooooove them very much! You can definitely find these all over the highstreet. Similar here.

The simple black two strap Zara sandals are my wardrobe staples, as again I've honestly worn these little bad boys with the majority of my entire wardrobe. A Timeless classic design with a lovely gold heel finish.

Because I'm quite a visionary in my crazy head I've made a little fashion styling video (My first one eeeeeek!) for today's post.

ENJOY.

So I think this boho/slash/vintage chic look bode's quite well together. Please feel free to let me know what you think.
Many thanks for reading.

BODYCON BLISS

A quick little Saturday night fashion fix, styling up my simple yet sophisticated sixties body con Beyond Retro vintage dress. Navy is such a sharp colour to instantly smarten up any outfit. Pieced with my thick strapped beige love of my life (I know they are just shoes! But I love them!) Dune sandals, Vintage Rokit shoulder bag, big baggy detailed vintage jumper from Beyond Retro (for extra warmth) and my favourite round shaped vintage Blitz London summer shades!
New Braids. (Love them!)

What do you think of this look?

Also please feel free to book for Taming of The Shrew at The Arts Theatre Westend. It's a west end debut for me so I'm super excited, scared and delighted!

DREAM BIG.
