WHAT TO WEAR ON CHRISTMAS DAY | VINTAGE STYLE

Well hello festive season.....I'm so frigging excited about this particular sparkly occasion look that I'm going to be super bold and say that this is one of the best ever festive style creations that I have ever shared with you on here. I would rock this golden look every single day if I could! In fact I've already wore the lbd twice this festive season. The fashion fondness stems from the beautiful details bouncing off this joyful vintage inspired look -  The Festive Seventies Gold Shirt immediately screams hello sequin statement. A warm reflective gold bold shimmering embellishment and fierce sharp collar makes this piece so fun to style up and wear. A playful versatile design that contrasts beautifully against casual favourites like old school denim, yet also super glamorous paired with softer textures like satin or velvet. Now this Dark Sixties Mini Cocktail Dress (aka lbd) feels so dreamy on and only cost £23 from Beyond Retro, yes £23. Around this time of year there's just something so romantic about wearing velvet as the fabric always feels so special and elegant on. The high neck allows you to style alongside a pretty blouse, simple winter roll neck, everyday t-shirt or anything long sleeved and still left looking effortlessly classic and chic. The Late Seventies, Early Eighties Sheer Tights will add another hint of retro glamour to your overall festive look, anything below 20 denier is perfect (and fab with heels). The Leather Boots are the very exact pair that I had been hunting for for many many years. So after deliberating over them for three whole days (& asking on insta what the heck I should do) I thought yasssss please. I mean high quality boots like these are worth the investment if you can make them worth the wear, and every single tiny detail on them I adore. From the walkable heel, below the knee seventies design, the narrow pointy toe, the oversized slouch and stunning vintage-esque finish….I'M JUST SOOOO IN LOVE (yes I know they're just a pair of boots, haha) as they superbly give off fabulous-feel-good-vibes. The Subtle Fashion Accessories are mini gold hoops from a gorgeous new American brand called Oma The Label. Mini hooped earrings are a key street style staple accessory as they look great all year round and go with practically everything (dressed up or down). The vintage bracelet is from Mero Retro and such a stunning unique design. Gold jewels matched with sweet velvet can beautifully elevate your entire look to appear even more Christmassy, the more gold or silver the merrier....bring on the sparkle and shine I say.

Talking of shine this festive retro make up look worn includes - Pat McGrath labs lip liner, ground control - Pat McGrath labs, permagel ultra glide eye pencil, xtreme black - Glossier, boy brow, brown/brun - Anastasia, clear brow gel, Laura Mercier, translucent powder, honey - Charlotte Tilbury, airbrush bronzer, No4. deep - Mac water weight foundation - Mac matte eyeshadow, passionate - Mac eye brows styler, spiked - Mac lipstick satin - Glossier cloud paint, storm - Shiseido lipstick, nude streak - Fenty Beauty match stix concealer, suede - Marc Jacobs mascara, at lash'd (discontinued).

You can rock this gift wrap look on Christmas Day (if you don't fancy pj's this year), Boxing Day or NYE. What ever you fancy (you do you) I know you'll feel comfortably stylish and festive in this treat of an outfit. Please find below 12 festive fashion inspo looks. Enjoy!

WISHING YOU A DEAR MERRY CHRISTMAS
