HOW TO LOOK FABULOUS THIS WEDDING SEASON I THE SASSY SLIP DRESS | STYLE NO.1

Wedding Summer Season is finally here Aaaaaaaaaahhhhh! And after being a part of my best friends wedding last year (omg her dress! Let's not talk about my maid of honour dramatic speech hahaha) and with another bestie getting married in July, and seeing a very close member of my immediate family say ‘I do’ this May. My love for all things weddings has truly grown. I believe and understand the magical celebration now (only taken many years). And I recently gushed about weddings on insta with 'To mark a celebration of love can only be a beautiful thing and to be asked to share their moment is an absolute blessing. I live to love and adore seeing happiness in others'. I think what I meant is the true essence of weddings simply comes down to - LOVE.

So with all the admiration for weddings in mind, I’ll be sharing a selection of 'Wedding Guest Looks' I think will look super fabulous on you this year. Kicking off with The Satin Slip Dress. I wore this dusty pink look to the May wedding (here) and so many people asked where the dress was from. And I honestly think Zara have really pushed all the glam out with their high street occasional summer collection (& all at a affordable price). I mean who doesn’t love a fashion bargain, especially when you have a few occasions to attend to (them guest looks can add up). This design will hopefully make you instantly feel elegant, confident and dance floor free (thanks to the drape movement style) all at the same time.

DETAILS - Due to the demure sweet texture of the dress I wanted to make my makeup look strong and dramatic by adding a striking red lip. Also adding additional glam with these gold oversized fierce earrings and bold retro white sunglasses. The footwear I kept quite simple with a black two strap gold heel. These no faff versatile heels are literally worn throughout all seasons, as they can conveniently go with the majority of the wardrobe (definitely recommend adding this particular style to your shoe collection as they've lasted years). The snakeskin clutch is an original vintage piece from the 70’s that finishes off the overall wedding look perfectly.

And that’s it. Hair clips are a great way of adding super sparkly detail to your summer hair, hunt for a funky slogan to help elevate your overall fabulous look. The dress is quite easy to throw accessories around so I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun summer guest styling. X
