Red is the colour to beat this season. And subtle power colour injections will really push your Autumn style a long way. Now you really don't need to rush out and spend lots of money on this shade, because you've more likely already got tons of red striking out at you within your wardrobe somewhere (look for blocks of solid colour). So have a good old rummage! The vintage cardigan is actually a yearly steal off the old bf, which I wear for our low in temp brisk London weathers (which constantly changes, so perfect to throw on). Plus SO beautifully thick in knit (the dear granny in me can't stand thin knits). The bag you've seen me style on here a billion times before (huge favourite). And I really have enjoyed playing around with this outfit by contrasting the soft classic trench against these 80's 'madonna' black tights (obsessed with fishnets atm), shiny black boots and a leather mini.
On paper you wouldn't think this look could work but somehow I think it fabulously does......
How will you be styling red this season?
